Scott The magnetos on these large capacity two stroke twins have to work hard. The magneto has to run at engine speed and provide two sparks for every revolution. We have developed a version of the new BT-H magneto to satisfy this arduous task. The prototype was developed following discussion with racing Scott owner, Roger Moss.
The picture (above right) is of the first magneto produced for the Scott. Subsequent units will be similar in appearance but to simplify production they will have two small external coils mounted in a convenient or unobtrusive position on the motor-cycle.
